Our founder

Who we are

Helping people build knowledge, skills and confidence.

We develop and support educational initiatives that help people access learning opportunities, strengthen their skills, and reach their potential.

How it started

Founded in 2017 on a simple belief: we all have something to give.

Our early work included the Back to School Project in Yangoji, FCT, which gave students educational supplies, medical support and tuition sponsorship.

Our mission

Giving Back with Evie works to remove educational barriers and create meaningful pathways to learning, development, and opportunity.

Through targeted educational initiatives, we equip individuals with the knowledge, resources, and support they need to reach their potential and shape better futures for themselves and their communities.

Our vision

A future where access to education is not determined by circumstance, and every individual has the opportunity to learn, develop their potential, and turn that opportunity into lasting impact.

Why it matters

0 million

children and young people around the world are out of school.

Many are kept from the classroom by poverty, conflict or the cost of school itself. Large agencies cannot reach every learner. Personal initiatives like ours make a real difference by reaching people directly, with exactly the support they need to keep learning.

0%

of fourth graders in the United States read below the basic level.

Reading opens the door to every other subject. When children fall behind early, the gap follows them through school. Support that starts early and close to home can change that.

0 million

primary-school-age children in Nigeria are not in school.

For many families, fees, uniforms and supplies decide whether a child learns or stays home. Removing those barriers, one student at a time, is where our work began.

Since 2017

we have believed that we all have something to give, and even a small act of generosity can make a lasting difference.

Access to education shapes more than a student’s immediate circumstances. It shapes their confidence, their opportunities and their future. That is why education is at the centre of everything we do.

Where we have been

Some of the outreaches we have run since 2017, in our own words and photos.

How we work

From need to opportunity

We keep our process simple, personal and open, so every supporter can see where their gift goes.

  1. 01

    Identify

We meet students and communities to understand what stands between them and learning.

  2. 02

    Gather

Donors, partners and volunteers help us provide supplies, sponsorship and resources.

  3. 03

    Support

We deliver that support directly, from school supplies to tuition sponsorship.

  4. 04

    Report back

After each outreach we share photos, numbers and stories with our supporters.
